Trenchless Technology refers to a variety of techniques used to install, repair or replace
underground infrastructure while minimising surface disruption.
Aqua Assets offers a variety of services including :
- Cured In Place Pipe Lining (CIPPL)
This process involves the insertion of a tube impregnated with a thermosetting resin, which is expanded and cured to form a tight fitting liner within the host pipe. CIPP liners have many applications from sewer mainlines and laterals, industrial and special waste pipelines to pressure pipes.
- Directional Jacking/Trust Boring
This technique is highly successful, cost efficient and has high structural in the rehabilitation of large bore Infrastructure.
- Spot Lining
Offers a quick and easy structural repair to various pipe types, ie; vitrified clay, concrete, pitched fibre and more. This method eliminates the need for localised excavation.
- Manhole Rehabilitation
A wide range of epoxy and mortar based products are available for specific applications. All staff are trained to VETAB level of accreditation for confined space entries.
- Salinity Infiltration
An investigation into saline infiltration with spot testing followed by CCTV pipe line inspections.
- Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
HDD techniques are used for installation of new pipelines, ducts and cables. The direction of the drilling head can be adjusted at any stage during the initial pilot bore, to steer around or under obstacles.
